About us

Our hearts are in Ireland and Spain

In Immersion+ IRL We are passionate about organizing unique language and cultural immersion experiences in Ireland. From our base in the Baix EmpordàWe work to ensure that every student enjoys a safe, enriching, and fully personalized stay.
We focus on two main areas: Erasmus programs for students in intermediate and higher education, and summer staysFurthermore, we are developing language immersion programs for adults, expanding our offering for all those who want to improve their English by experiencing authentic Irish culture.
Each stay is managed in detail, with small groups, to guarantee personalized attention, safety and real language learning.
Our team

Jillian Cassidy
I'm Irish, a mother of three daughters, and I've lived in Spain for over 30 years. I've lived in four countries, and that diverse life experience is reflected in everything I do.
Immersion+ IRL was born from the combination of several of my facets: I've been teaching English for years and I also worked in a nursery school in Madrid, which gave me a special sensitivity for understanding young children. My experience in event production—conferences, festivals—provides me with the organizational skills and rigor necessary to manage each trip thoughtfully and responsibly.
Another important part of who I am is Umamanita, the non-profit organization I founded in memory of my first daughter, Uma. That project has given me something that can't be learned in any master's program: composure, empathy, and a way of supporting people that goes far beyond the professional realm.

Adrianne
I'm the mother of two teenage boys and the program's on-the-ground contact in Ireland—they call me "the mother" because of the way I look after the students. I've been managing student exchanges for over nine years, and I'm personally responsible for selecting both the internship companies and the host families. Every family that joins the program goes through my hands—and my judgment. When the students are in Ireland, I'm there for them.

Rose
I'm from Tramore, like Jillian and Adrianne, and I'm also a mother of two teenagers. Like Jillian, I've lived in Spain for decades. I've been an English teacher for over 20 years, and for the last 15 I've run my own language school in Granada, where I prepare students for the Cambridge exams.
My teaching method is based on a clear idea: learning English should be logical, fun, and effective. My classes are dynamic and interactive, and what's most difficult to achieve in a classroom: the students never get bored.
